Bryan Skinner has over twenty years experience as a narrative and documentary director, writer, producer, and editor.  His short films have screened at international festivals, most notably, the mockumentary Tumbling After, which earned him the Jury Prize in The Waterford Film Festival.

 

A graduate of Vancouver Film School, Bryan’s other awards include Best Director, CineVic Film Slam Competition (The Bright Side) and The Jean Osser Award, Saskatchewan Student Film Festival (I of The Needle).

 

Bryan has also worked as an Arts Administrator for over ten years and is highly regarded as an effective promoter of Victoria's film community and industry.  He has extensive experience and proven success in strategic planning, budget management, grant writing, staff management, event planning, project management, and communications
